The North Bay Association of REALTORS® provides services to members in Lake, Mendocino, Napa and Sonoma Counties in northern California.

Advocate for real property rights and a sustainable housing economy.

Political Force – Anticipate and influence industry-related policies, initiatives and campaigns.

Influence – Position NorBAR and members as leaders and decision makers in the community. 

Investment and Participation – Promote member investment in robust government affairs strategies and REALTOR® party activities.

Lobbying Strength – Maintain an effective structure of NorBAR staff, chapters and members to monitor government regulation, collaborating with C.A.R. and NAR.

 

Position REALTORS® and NBAR as trusted partners in serving and enhancing communities.

Community Awareness – Promote the contributions REALTORS®, the association and chapters make to communities in significant financial and in-kind services.

Trusted Resource – Position NorBAR as the resource of data and all things real estate for the community.

Public Education – Educate the public to issues such as home ownership, financing and public policies.

Serve as the primary resource for education and professional excellence.

Education – Provide access to professional development opportunities to support lifelong learning. Offer content that includes professional relations and behaviors.

Ethical Compliance – Provide support to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics.

Violations and Discipline – Investigate and provide a structure to streamline and address violations, considering applications at the local level.

Deliver the opportunities, benefits and services essential to member success.

Membership Experience – Promote, access and offer the tools, benefits and services that support member success and recruitment growth in NorBAR.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion – Analyze and implement a plan to integrate diversity into all aspects of the association.

Engagement – Continuously increase member engagement in activities and opportunities for success.

Violations and Discipline – Investigate and provide a structure to streamline and address violations, considering applications at the local level.

Work as a strong organization with vibrant chapters that engage members.

Structure – Support REALTOR® success, promote their positive community impact and advocate for real property rights and a sustainable housing economy.

People – Identify and train competent leaders to engage in NorBAR, C.A.R. and NAR as well as to serve on locally appointed and elected boards. Support the professional staff essential to provides excellent member service.

Finances – Be excellent stewards of assets, diversifying revenue sources.

Technology – Anticipate and invest in technology to efficiently serve the membership and support association functions.
