Thinking about volunteering with the North Bay Association of REALTORS®? From serving as a director on our board to volunteering on one of our committees or task forces, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Committees & Task Forces

Communications

Address the Consumer and Community Goal of the Strategic Plan. They will provide information, create campaigns, and work to position the association a resource on housing matters. They will also educate the public on issues relating to home ownership, financing, and public policies.

Leadership

Provide resources to leaders to reach the goals and strategies of the Strategic Plan, Identify, and train complete leaders on all three levels, be stewards of the association assets, and diversify revenue sources.

Local Government Relations (Sonoma, Napa or Lake/Mendocino County)

The LGRC Committees monitor current and potential legislation, forms relationships with elected officials and informs legislators of the effects proposals may have on private property rights and the real estate industry. They recommend positions on local real estate legislation to the Board of Directors.

Local Candidate Recommendations

The LCRC makes contributions to local candidates such as mayors, city council members, sheriffs, county supervisors, school and water board members, and other local elected officials. They also recommend endorsements to the Board of Directors.

Member/Services Education

The Committee reviews and recommends to the Board of Directors products, services, promotes member benefits and helps find what tools are available to help members be successful. They also set our educational offerings for the year, reviews potential classes and provides training that can assist members in their business.

Professionalism

In conjunction with other committee, they will provide access to professional development opportunities, support to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics and investigate a structure to streamline and address violations.

Chapter Committees

Each Chapter of the Association has a chapter committee that works on a hyper-local level to provide information to members. Information is provided through the weekly marketing meetings. The committees may also plan fundraisers for the North Bay Association Charity for scholarships or donations to local organizations.

Chapters include: Mendocino County, Napa County, North Sonoma County, Petaluma, Rohnert Park/Cotati, Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, Sonoma Valley, and Windsor.
